Hanson Creek Ranch enjoys the best of Montana weather. Mild winters and cool summers make this an ideal place for your filming.
The average annual precipitation is 16-18 inches. The average maximum temperatures in June, July, and August range from 68-80 degrees Fahrenheit. In December, January, and February the average temperatures are between 32-37 degrees with plenty of sunshine.
Hanson Creek Ranch sits at 5,200 feet above sea level. The views of the Tabacco Root Mountains and Hollowtop Peak are spectacular. Hollowtop Mountain (6,720 feet) is the highest peak in the eastern flank of the Tobacco Root range.
